Christmas is supposed to be "the happiest time of the year".
Often the really "happy" folks overlook the rest. But are they really happy inside? Many of those folks also have hurts and heartaches as well.
During this season we should remember that their are many of us find it hard to be a part of anything...our friends don't seem to have time, work isn't always the place to be and sometimes even our own families make us uncomfortable. I should know.
Have to juggle birth families, foster families, adoptive families and in-laws(2 sets) AND our "Bros and Hoes" group is very overwhelming. Some days I don't care to speak to my family members and some day I want to connect with them all. This does not mean I don't love and care for them...cuz I do. From time to time tho, each of us makes mistakes, feels we are shunned or simply need time apart.
For those of you who don't know...Bros and Hoes is a small group of "outsiders" (no family for Christmas, or not getting along with their family or some reason or another, etc.). We meet to celebrate special occasions together...with the stigma. We accept anyone...so if you feel alone this Christmas just let us know.
